Research Interests:

My background is in cell and molecular biology and signal transduction, with research experience in different fields including diabetes type II, obesity and lipid metabolism. 

My current research is focused on:

• The role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in the pathogenesis of knee osteoarthritis (OA)

• How microRNAs are involved in synovial inflammation and fibrosis associated with knee osteoarthritis
